My bucket list consists of many things including but not limited to below...
1) Do a Triathlon
2) Finish at least 10 of the 270,867,345 DIY home improvement pins from my pinterest
3) Start a Blog
4) Go on an African safari!
5) Build a library in my house
...Okay you get the idea. So I decided why not try it out! Here I am nailing down two things on my bucket list. Numbers one and three, I'm coming for you! Doing a blog sounds like a really fun thing when you think about it, and then you actually do it and you're writing down your thoughts, making sure you are being gramatically correct (you're welcome mom), and also trying to be somewhat interesting without overdoing it. IT'S HARD guys. First of all, I would consider myself a semi-private person. I think I have posted about 2 selfies in my life of just me, and technically they were not selfies because my cat participated.... Second of all, telling everyone about my athletic adventures everyday on facebook, twitter or instagram has never really been my thing..NOT downing those who do, and I have definitly been known to post a picture or two, but usually I keep it to myself. Then I started a fitness Instagram, mmhmmmm, no big deal right? A whole 9 monthes later I have a total of 8 followers (thanks to the 6 of you I forced). I may not be the best in promotion or technology for that matter, but with all that being said I decided to start this Triatholon blog post because 1) My first day of training was hilarious and all I kept thinking in my head was I wish others who do their first TRI knew about this torture. AND 2) I think it will keep me motivated to keep going. This is my mentality: if it helps one person it was worth it. I know what you're thinking; "One Person!" ......Yes one person, I am that girl who when everyone else is complaining about how overflowed their gym is the week after New Years thinks "Yes I'm dying of humidity, and I can't breathe and it smells in here, but honestly if one of these people stays and continues to work their butt off and change their life, then I can deal with a few weeks of people stealing my (yes my) treadmill." So here I am about to change one person's life.
With all this being said I still have to figure out how to put photos on here so bear with me.
More news on my adventure tomorrow where I will fill you in on all my triathlon deets.
Cheers.
xo, Kara
